Lake Highlands is one of the most family-friendly areas of Dallas, being referred to as “Dallas’ once-hidden gem” by D Magazine. Lake Highlands is an affluent area of Dallas, but it’s not a specific subdivision (meaning there are no official boundaries). Lake Highlands is located in the northeast portion of Dallas. The neighborhood is a collection of dozens of subdivisions bound together by their support for its well-regarded Richardson ISD schools and the convenient access to White Rock Lake. The area provides quick access to the entire Metroplex via I-635, 75-Central Expressway, and I-30. You will find plenty of outdoor activity available with ample parks & trails which lead to White Rock Lake.
Lake Highlands touches Richardson on the north, Garland on the east, White Rock Lake and East Dallas on the south, and the Lakewood area of North Dallas on the west.
